The Beyond Aid Project
The Beyond Aid Project is about empowering communities, adding value to natural resources, and creating sustainable livelihood for the vulnerable especially the youth and women
Beyond Aid is a social enterprise registered in Ghana, West Africa that trains local craftsmen and women to make its products. All products are hand-made from wild bamboo and other natural resources found various different areas in Ghana.
We believe when we empower women and young people with skills to add value to natural resources in their localities, they will work hard to live beyond aid and poverty.
We identify the resource in a given community e.g bamboo, clay
We work wit the community to develop human resource capacity to add value to the resource
Establish craft villages targeted communities
Conduct training workshops in craft making
